RARE, original vintage three-stone, engagement ring. High quality ring, art deco, Art Nouveau natural diamond and sapphire bridal engagement ring or wedding / anniversary ring in excellent condition. TOP GEM.
The center natural sapphire is a bezel set, oval cut weighing approximately 1.00 carat.
Its rich cornflower blue color is intense, and does not diminish while worn.
This beautiful sapphire is mounted horizontally in a period-classic, tapered square-edged frame featuring two bezel set, round cut diamonds.
Each diamond weighs 0.25 carats for a total diamond weight of 0.50 carats or 1/2 carat.
Both diamonds are white and clean.
The ring top is crafted of platinum while the ring band and gallery are crafted of 18 karat yellow gold. The ring top, gallery, and shoulders are intricately hand-carved in elegant leaf-inspired scrolls. As the ring is a genuine vintage piece, signs of wear and age are apparent in the etchings and some of the detail on the shoulders has worn thin. The overall look is clean with the classic architecture of art deco design.
If you're looking for a 3-stone engagement ring that will sit flush against your finger and not catch on anything, this is the perfect design. This ring is hand-made and most certainly one-of-a-kind.
